New Brunswick Resident's Appeal to MLAs on Mandatory Vaccination Vote

Thanks to Jayne for allowing us to publish her letter to the MLAs of New Brunswick.

Dear Member of the New Brunswick Legislature,
I am writing to you as a constituent because I am alarmed and, quite frankly, horrified at the legislation proposed by Dominic Cardy, Minister of Education, that would require all children without a medical exemption to be fully vaccinated in order to attend school in New Brunswick.
Not only am I horrified at the legislation he is proposing, but I am also horrified at the outright discrimination he is displaying publicly against NB parents and their children. What is the definition of discrimination? According to the Canadian Human Rights Act, discrimination is an action or a decision that treats a person or a group badly for reasons such as their race, age or disability, etc.
Dominic Cardy is inciting discriminatory hatred against parents and children in this province. I demand he, and any MLA who agrees with him, to step down! You are no longer serving the people of NB, you are serving the vaccine industry lobbyists, and THAT is CRIMINAL.
I had a parent tell me yesterday (Friday, June 7th) they were now afraid to speak out publicly because of the hatred Education Minister Dominic Cardy is inciting in the various medias towards parents and their children exercising their Constitutional Chartered Rights and Freedoms (personal, religious and medical exemptions from vaccines) and their Chartered right to express free speech and thought). Because Mr. Cardy is inciting public mob-hatred and discrimination towards these same parents and children, she is now afraid to gather with friends in peaceful demonstration against this act and is fearful to speak out publicly for fear of hers and her child’s life. All it takes is for one mentally unstable person to listen to him and act upon his words! He should be legally charged and required to step down from his office and you should be demanding it.
Do you wish to continue taking part in this injustice? I am personally lodging a complaint against him and think we (as parents) should all consider this as an option.
Let me remind you also that 12 cases in a population of 770,663 (2018) is hardly an outbreak, let alone cause for such discriminatory action against unvaccinated children in NB. The real health issues in NB, premature mortality and avoidable mortality (especially when it is due to “preventable causes”) are long term health status outcomes, and are consequences of years of health trends, in particular chronic health conditions and their associated determinants.
Premature mortality due to major causes (heart and stroke, cancer, breathing diseases, injuries and suicide/self-inflicted injuries among our children and teens) can be alleviated and reduced in the long run, by effective prevention and sustained degree of wellness in the population.
The four population health priorities that NBHC identified in 2011 are linked to the above listed causes of premature mortality. In addition to “Injuries” listed as a priority and being a clear cause of premature mortality, the other three priorities are linked to premature mortality through:
– Obesity (unhealthy weight): Risk for heart and stroke, and cancer
– High blood pressure: Risk for heart and stroke
– Mental health: Risk for suicide and self-inflicted injuries
Enough said!
Dominic Cardy hopes to see the proposed amendments passed before the legislature breaks for the summer, with enforcement of this amendment beginning in September, 2021. He is stating “No vaccinations, no school” and telling parents they can “homeschool”. Homeschooling to date is a choice outside of public school… Being forced out of school for refusing a medical procedure is NOT a choice, but coercion. It is at that point that one is not “choosing” to homeschool…. Our Constitutional Charter of Rights allows that all Canadian children be given free public schooling WITHOUT discrimination. What he is proposing, is again, discrimination. Not only that, but vaccinations are a medical procedure with risk. The Canadian Medical Law states that Canadians are to have an informed choice in any medical choice with risk and that one can opt in or out of ANY medical procedure lawfully and with chartered rights backing their decision.
Mandatory vaccine policy is a clear and direct violation of the Nuremburg Code, Sections 1, 2, 7, and 15 of the Canadian Constitution, and the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights which states in Article 6:

“Any preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic medical intervention is only to be carried out with the prior, free and informed consent of the person concerned, based on adequate information. The consent should, where appropriate, be expressed and may be withdrawn by the person concerned at any time and for any reason without disadvantage or prejudice.”

Over-riding Constitutionally protected rights should only be considered under extreme circumstances. In light of that, temporary vaccine mandates should only be considered if these conditions are met:

  1. The infection has a high rate of mortality.
  2. The infection is highly contagious.
  3. The vaccine is proven safe.
  4. The vaccine is effective in preventing transmission.
  5. There are no other methods of treatment available.

None of the current infections and their related vaccines meet these criteria. There is no medical justification to impose vaccine products by coercion rather than consent. Evidence repeatedly suggests that unvaccinated children are healthier than vaccinated when it comes to overall physical and mental health. They have less incidence of all sorts of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, asthma, allergies, and ADHD. A vaccine injury is a difficult thing to prove in order to get a medical exemption, but this evidence suggests that our current vaccine program of 66 vaccines/boosters from birth to 18 years is making the population sicker.
All vaccines come with the risk of serious complications. Some children are more sensitive to vaccine and other pharmaceutical ingredients than the average child. A look at the vaccine monographs will show that to be the case. We as parents know our children best and need to maintain the right to make these decisions for them. I don’t know where you personally stand on this issue, but the idea of the government mandating medical procedures on our kids is downright scary to us as parents. Please look at the evidence. Here is a link to a database of scientific articles pointing out the many risks associated with vaccines:

The choice to vaccinate MUST be each and every parent’s own informed medical choice for their children. Once informed consent rights are violated, the risk of ongoing erosion is high. Please say No! to enforced, coerced vaccinations and this proposed bill and allow personal and religious exemptions to remain.
Sincerely,
Jayne Brawn Vandenberghe
