VCC Thanks New Brunswick MLAs Who Voted Against Mandatory Vaccination Bill 11

Sent by mail to the 22 New Brunswick MLAs who voted “NO” on Bill 11

Dear
I am writing on behalf of Vaccine Choice Canada, and all the families across Canada who are dedicated to protecting and preserving voluntary and informed consent, bodily sovereignty, and the right of parents to make medical decisions for our children.
When New Brunswick’s Bill 11 was defeated on June 18, 2020, I think I can safely say that all of us in our family of informed consent proponents breathed a collective sigh of relief. Many of us cried. This has been a long and hard fought battle as we collectively stood up for our rights and freedoms.
I want to acknowledge your openness to understanding the issues and the implications of forcing upon citizens a medical procedure that carries the risk of injury and death. While this is a highly complex matter that requires even more discussion, investigation and oversight, the principle upon which we stand is simple – the freedom to choose what is injected into one’s body.
I believe this to be an historic moment in New Brunswick. This was the moment when you and the majority of your colleagues supported our inalienable right to freedom of conscience and religion granted to us by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and affirmed our autonomy as free and sovereign citizens.
That said, I have no illusions that this battle is over. The effort to impose vaccine mandates upon all citizens, both children and adults, is a global phenomenon supported by a very powerful pharmaceutical industry. I know you will be challenged, dismissed, and the target of disparaging comments for the stand you have taken. I know this because we, as vaccine choice parents and grandparents, live with these challenges every day.
In the absence of robust safeguards, high quality safety testing using inert placebos, the long-term monitoring of adverse effects, manufacturer liability for injury or harm, compensation for injury and death, and independent vaccinated vs unvaccinated studies, the only safeguard that remains is the right of parents to informed consent.
I know you recognize and understand the significance of defeating this legislation and its impact in undermining rights and freedoms and our sovereignty as human beings.
I want you to know how grateful we are for your concern, your compassion and your courage to stand up for the rights and freedoms of citizens of New Brunswick, and of all Canadians.
With deep respect and gratitude,

Ted Kuntz, President
Vaccine Choice Canada
