Talking Points

In support of protecting our rights to Vaccination Exemptions, there are 7 points of prime importance to consider.

1. Informed Consent

Vaccine Choice Canada supports voluntary, informed consent to all medical procedures, including vaccination. We are pro information and pro civil rights.

2. Your body. Your health. Your choice.

You have the right to make a voluntary and informed decision about medical treatments that carry a risk of injury or death. And this includes vaccination. Your right to decide is protected by Canadian Medical Law and Ontario’s Health Care Consent Act, which uphold the right to Informed Consent, as well as the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms which protects your right to “freedom of conscience and religion” and your right to “security of the person”. Your body. Your health. Your choice.

3. Your right to ownership of your body is under threat

Your only protection from vaccine injury is the legal right to choose what goes into your body or that of your child. This right is under threat in Ontario – which may lead to erosion of these rights across the country.

4. Your doctor will not be held responsible for your vaccine injury

Neither your doctor, pharmacist, the vaccine manufacturer nor any level of government assume any legal responsibility for what happens once vaccines are injected into you or your child. If injury or death follows vaccination, there is no legal recourse. You will not be compensated for suffering nor assisted with care. You are on your own.

5. Vaccine manufacturers warn of vaccine reactions and injuries, some of which are severe.

Vaccine package inserts warn of the risks that include brain damage, life threatening allergy and death. Parents have the right to review this information prior to vaccination in order to make a fully informed decision.

6. Herd immunity is a theory not a fact.

Herd immunity following vaccination is a complex mathematical theory based on unrealistic assumptions. The theory does not include vaccine failure, viral shedding following vaccination, adverse vaccine reactions, vaccine injured children who can no longer be immunized and the immunocompromised. Whether herd immunity is possible under such conditions remains debatable.

7. The profit-making interests of the pharmaceutical industry often conflict with individual rights and the medical ethic of ‘first do no harm’.

Where the theory of herd immunity appears to be at odds with individual rights, we must remember that seriously injured or dead children are not acceptable as collateral damage.
The story of the unlicensed Canadian vaccine PENTA is an important cautionary tale for parents. Parents were not informed this was an experimental vaccine and their children were the test population. Hence individual rights to informed consent, safety and even government regulations were side-stepped in order to get a vaccine to market quickly.
